Instructions Light & Smoke Signal Ikaros
The Ikaros MOB signal is used by attaching it to a lifebuoy on board. This way, the MOB is pulled along when the lifebuoy is thrown towards a person in the water. The MOB then emits a light and smoke signal, making the person clearly visible to the surrounding environment and easier to locate. However, it is important for the MOB to be mounted correctly. A manual is available for this purpose, explaining how to mount and use the MOB.
Ikaros recently put two new videos online in which the application and mounting are very clearly shown and explained.
