The Ocean Signal safeSEA M200 is an advanced AIS Man Over Board (MOB) beacon designed for fast and efficient rescue operations at sea. The device combines multiple distress alerting methods via AIS, DSC, and 121.5 MHz, making it suitable for both recreational boaters and professional maritime and offshore applications. Thanks to its compact design, the M200 can easily be integrated into inflatable life jackets and automatically activates when the life jacket inflates.
The M200 complies with AIS Class M regulations (ECC/DEC/(22)02) and features dual white and infrared strobe lights for maximum visibility during emergency situations. Once activated, the beacon immediately starts transmitting a 121.5 MHz homing signal together with AIS distress alerts including GNSS positioning data via GPS and Galileo.
