RescueME EPIRB1 developed by Ocean Signal, the specialist in safety and communication products for maritime safety, is the most compact EPIRB to be found (EPIRB is short for Emergency Position Indicating Radio Emergency Beacon).
The new rescueME EPIRB1 measures just 178mm (height with antenna rolled in) at 89mm, weighs 422g and is therefore a trailblazing 30% smaller size compared to other EPIRBs. This Class 2 GPS EPIRB has a battery with an extremely long life of 10 years.
Automatic activation when the EPIRB1 is underwater. Due to its small size, the EPIRB1 can be safely stored in a 'grab bag' or placed on board in the manually unlockable bracket.
