Ocean Signal SART AIS S200

The Ocean Signal SafeSea S200 is an AIS Search and Rescue Transmitter (AIS SART) designed to comply with IMO SOLAS and GMDSS regulations. The S200 uses AIS technology and GPS positioning to transmit the exact location of a vessel, liferaft, or survival craft to AIS-equipped ships, aircraft, and coast stations within VHF range. Thanks to AIS technology, the S200 remains highly reliable even in poor weather conditions and heavy seas.

The S200 transmits eight AIS position reports per minute on AIS channels 1 and 2, enabling fast detection and real-time tracking during search and rescue operations. Its compact design, long battery life, and simple operation make the S200 suitable for commercial shipping, passenger vessels, fishing vessels, workboats, and superyachts.
