The Hammar hydrostatic release units for liferafts are designed for liferafts with a capacity of 6 to 150 persons. The release units have a release depth of 1.5 to 4 metres and feature a weak link that complies with SOLAS regulations.
The HRU's are available in different versions, including a model with an extended service life of 30 months for liferafts with extended service intervals. Both versions are supplied in a box with step-by-step mounting instructions for the liferaft container.
