The RescueMe MOB1 is the smallest AIS MOB device from Ocean Signal. This innovative product, with a 30% smaller size than comparable other MOBs, has AIS and integrated DSC. The RescueMe MOB1 is easy to attach to almost all inflatable life jackets. The new RescueMe MOB1 activates automatically the moment the life jacket inflates, after which the antenna emits 30 - 45 cm above the water level.
The MOB1 device communicates the position of the drowning person in distress to their own ship and other ships in the vicinity. Once the RescueMe MOB1 is activated, the AIS (Automatic Identification System) signal will display accurate position information on the onboard chartplotter.
