Parachute rockets

The IKAROS rocket is used for long-range distress signaling on ships, lifeboats and life rafts. When activated, it launches a flare to attract the attention of rescuers.

Handheld flares

These handheld flares are designed to give maximum output from a minimum size container.

The IKAROS hand flare red is a short-range distress signal for ships, lifeboats and life rafts. It is also the best pinpoint signal for pleasure craft.

 

The IKAROS hand flare white acts as a warn-off signal and is used by vessels and pleasure craft.

The IKAROS handsmoke is designed for daylight distress signaling.

 

The flares have been developed from the IKAROS parachute flare, which is known to be the best in the world. The case is made of corrosion-resistant steel and carries clear and simple instructions for use. IKAROS hand flare have been approved globally and meet the latest SOLAS regulations.

Buoyant smoke orange

The IKAROS buoyant smoke orange is a daylight distress signal and can be used on ships, lifeboats and life rafts.

This orange smoke signal emits a dense orange smoke visible both from boats several kilometres away, but also provides great visibility for search and rescue helicopters and airplanes.

 

The case is made of corrosion-resistant steel and carries clear and simple instructions, making the signal very easy to use. To activate it, simply remove the lid, pull the internal loop and throw it into the water. It will immediately emit smoke to attract attention.
